Book Review: Inescapable Desire (Book 2 of the Savannah Series) by Danielle Jamie

Title: Inescapable Desire
Author: Danielle Jamie
Publication: May 24th 2013
Rating:  5/5

SYNOPSIS:

After giving up on love, Savannah built a fortress around her heart; until Kayden storms into her life breaking through her resolve and the walls she built around her heart. Savannah took a huge leap of faith deciding to move from Los Angeles to Galveston Texas. She wants to be closer to Kayden and away from the insanity of L.A. Being the daughter of Country Music's Hottest Duo and having a very public break up has made life in Los Angeles almost unbearable.

As soon as Savannah begins to feel like her life is finally piecing back together, men from her past come back into her life causing strain on her very new relationship with Kayden. Just when she thinks things cannot get any worse tragedy strikes; sending Savannah’s world crashing back down around her. Will her relationship with Kayden, be strong enough to with stand the new obstacles thrown at them? Or will it tear them apart forever?

REVIEW: Fun and flirty with a dose of drama and betrayal, Inescapable Desire picks up right where Irresistable Desire leaves off. Still exploring their new relationship, Kayden and Savvannah's chemistry is undeniable.

Savannah, still the wholesome girl next door, has to deal with Logan, her cheating ex, coming back around months after their break-up while Kayden is still keeping the mysterious ex who broke his heart to himself. The two of them together is quite the steamy affair though. Throw in Kayden's cousin, bodyguard, and the sassy Brooklyn - the three of them forming quite the little triangle - you can't help but be pulled in to the story.

After her break-up with Logan, Savannah is now in the spotlight and Logan is not helping matters at all. At the same time her relationship with Kayden Knox, the manwhore turned boyfriend, is just beginning. To avoid the spotlight and to focus on her relationship with Kayden, Savannah decides to leave LA for Texas and a brand new start. Best friend Brooklyn tags along and thus begins their life in Texas. Along the way Savannah makes new friends, finds love, and becomes heals her emotional wounds.

Once again Danielle had my attention right from the very start.  The characters draw you in and make you feel as if you are a part of the story. The interactions between them are well written and you can feel the depth of their emotions. I must say I was never expected what occurred towards the end at all. I won't give away any spoilers, but trust me when I say you won't expect it either!

All in all, Inescapable Desire was another great read by Danielle Jamie. It left me stunned and I had to start book three, Indestructible Desire, immediately after finishing this book.
