MY REVIEW: Teagan Callahan once had the life that every girl would be envious of. Now a year later she's searching to find herself again. Swearing off bad boys for good after what she went through with her ex, Teagan escapes to Beachwood Bay and her brother Dex's beach house. What she didn't expect was the mysterious guy she met in Vegas would be in the same small town as her. Teagan knows his type and he has bad boy written all over him. Now she needs to resist the temptation and stay away from him.
Ryland left home with demons on his tail and wound up in a whole heap of trouble. Paying off his debts and heading home, Ryland is trying to find his place in his family and free himself from the past. Never imagining he'd run in to Teagan again, the pretty girl with the sad eyes, Ryland finds himself drawn to her and wanting to know her story.
Can the bad boy save the grieving princess or will the past come calling?
As a big fan of Melody Grace's book, my favorite book yet was Dex and Alicia's story, Uninhibited. That was until now.
In Uninhibited we first met Teagan and from the moment she was introduced I wanted to know more about her character and her story. Teagan had spent the last year in rehab and mourning the death of her ex-boyfriend. Teagan is a strong girl who is seeking her independence from her older brother's and trying to figure out who she is without Connor. After everything she has been through she still manages to wake up each day ready to take on the world which is quite the admirable quality in someone. After Connor broke her heart, she's sworn off bad boys for good, but Ryland is a big temptation.
Ryland is a good guy but his past is a heavy one. He ran from home and the family who loved him needing to be free from it all, but along the way he got in over his head. I liked the fact that Ryland never pushed Teagan, but was patient with her instead. He's a strong guy that battled his demons and won and although he comes off as a bad boy, there's a heart of gold under all that "badness".
Once again Melody Grace captures her readers attention with a book that has you becoming a part of the story and immersing yourself in the character's lives along with leaving you wanting more. Unstoppable is about second chances and about living life. This book will leave you breathless and have you falling in love.
