Title: I Found You (Starting Over #1)
Author: Jane Lark
Rating: ★ STARS!
Links: Goodreads / Amazon / Barnes & Noble

Synopsis: Tomorrow is for regrets. Tonight is for being together.

On a cold winter night, Rachel and Jason’s lives collide on Manhattan Bridge. She’s running from life, he’s running toward it. But compassion urges him to help her.

His offer of a place to stay leads to friendship and trouble. There’s his fiancée back home in Oregon and a family who just don’t trust this girl from the wrong side of the tracks.

But when the connection between them is so electric, so right… everyone else must be wrong. And as the snow begins to settle on the Hudson, there’s nothing but the possibility of what could be – of this, right here, right now. Them.

My Review:
On a cold night in the middle of winter, Jason comes across Rachel, who is running from her ex and the demons of her past. When their worlds collide they try to fight the attraction to one another but when it comes to a head they realize all they ever wanted was a fresh start and they had found that in one another. They had found forever.

I loved I Found You. Jane Lark's writing made the characters come to life on the pages. The twists and turns from beginning to end made I Found You a never dull, keep you on the edge wanting more book.

Jason is intelligent, good looking, polite and well mannered while Rachel is outgoing, spontaneous, full of energy and sometimes a reckless rollercoaster. While exact opposites Rachel and Jason are each other's halves and bring the best out of one another. The character's personalities, feelings and emotions make them pop out of the book and come to life.

The plot was amazing and filled with new beginning, romance, and some angst.

Jane Lark's I Found You is one of the best books I have read in 2014. I hope to see more of Jason and Rachel throughout this series.
