MY REVIEW:
★ 5 STARS!
We first met Justin and Portia in I Found You (You can find my review here:   http://bottlesandbooksreviews.blogspot.com/2014/07/book-review-i-found-you-starting-over-1.html?m=1)Justin was one of Jason's first and only friends in the city while Portia had a bit of a crush on him.
On New Year's Eve Justin and Portia hook up. Portia, embarrassed at how much she drank and how little she remembers wants to put the incident out of her mind but she begins to see Justin in a new light and wants what he has to offer.
Justin, thinking Portia a spoiled, rich girl was sure she regretted their hook up because he was on a lower social status but the more he gets to know Portia the more he begins to want more. He wants the girl behind the cold facade.
Can two people from two different walks of life become all that one another needs? Can they survive the tests of their relationship or will it all fall apart?
Once again Jane Lark has written a fabulous book full of emotion, passion and love.
I loved the relationship between Portia and Justin. They seemed well suited to one another even with all the differences between the two of them. I envied Portia's courage to leave behind her rich girl life because of her morals.
The relationship between the two shows to meet judge a book by it's cover. The two of them had judge one another before really knowing each other and had jumped into their relationship with their first impressions whirling in their minds and yet as they got to know each other they realized the other person was more than what they had originally thought.
Just You keeps you on an emotional rollercoaster. One minute you are so happy for the couple and the next you feel bad for one of them. Every little detail works to bring this book together and make it a wonderful read. The Starting Over Series is fast becoming one of my favorites and I can't wait for more. Each character had touched me and remained with me long after I have started a new book.
AUTHOR BIO

Jane is a writer of authentic, passionate and emotional Historical and New Adult romance and author of a No.1 bestselling Historical Novel,'The Illicit Love of a Courtesan, as well as a Kindle overall Top 25, bestselling author.

She began her first historical novel at sixteen, but a life full of adversity derailed her as she lives with the restrictions of Ankylosing Spondylitis.

When she finally completed a novel it was because she was determined not to reach forty still saying, I want to write.

Now Jane is writing a Regency series as well as contemporary, new adult, stories and she is thrilled to be giving her characters life in others' imaginations at last.

You might think that Jane was inspired to write by Jane Austen, especially as she lives near Bath in the United Kingdom, but you would be wrong. Jane's favourite author is Anya Seton, and the book which drew her into the bliss of falling into historical imagination was 'Katherine' a story crafted from reality.

Jane has drawn on this inspiration to discover other real-life love stories, reading memoirs and letters to capture elements of the past, and she uses these to create more realistic plots.

'Basically I love history and I am sucker for a love story. I love the feeling of falling in love; it's wonderful being able to do it time and time again in fiction.'

Jane is also a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development in the United Kingdom, and uses this specialist understanding of people to bring her characters to life.
