Synopsis: Sawyer says…
Casual flings are the only way to go.
Everyone you trust eventually leaves.
Falling in love is for anyone, but her.
What else would she say when all she knows is loss and abandonment? Sawyer Sterling learned too young that depending on anyone else will get her nothing but heartache in the end. Never shying away from outwardly showing her love, she struggles accepting it herself. Stubbornly, she vows never to risk her heart.
Dealing with revelations she never saw coming, her impulse is to distance herself from emotional entanglements. When her past collides with her present, can Jared Keller help prove to her just how wrong her assumptions are? He is the exception to her argument that everyone leaves. Will she ever see him as something she deserves?

My Review:
Sawyer is used to being alone in the world. From a young age she has always depended and relied on just herself, never letting herself get too close to any man.

Jared, still recovering from the last year of his life, wants nothing more than to show Sawyer that he is the man for her. Ever since they meet as young kids he felt drawn to her and now as adults the feeling is multiplied.

When Sawyer and Jared give into the chemistry between them can they ever move from friends with benefits to something more or will someone's heart be broken in the process?

Sawyer Says is a tale of self-discovery, personal growth and love.

Sawyer, although scared of commitment, is a pretty awesome girl who reminds me a lot of myself. On a tale to discover who she was, who she wants to be and why she is the way she is - closed off - Sawyer finds love along the way and discovers that she can let someone in.

Jared, another great character with patience, commitment and the total package - handsome face and all, is the perfect match for Sawyer even when she can't see it.

I loved their storyline and the chemistry between them. The passion between them could light the pages on fire.

The writing is amazing, but what else could be expected from Carey Heywood?

I loved Sawyer Says and I know you will too ;) Definitely a FIVE star book!
