In this next volume of Slipperless, Gabe is pushing all of Fiona's limits and acting like a pushy, forceful alpha. The way he is acting is in order to try to break through to her and her fears so that she can forge ahead on her path to success and not linger of her fears and have them stand in her way. Yet he goes about this in a disrepectful and unsupportive manner, so much so that he can be labeled a jackass in this book.
I really like Sloan's writing style, but I was shocked at Gabe's treatment of Fiona. In my opinion he took things a little too far. I'm eager to know what the next part will lead to and if Gabe will redeem himself.
