My Review
I just recently discovered the MC trope. At first I didn't think these books would be my cup of tea. I couldn't have been more wrong and Amity Cross' Royal Blood series is the best MC books I have ever read.
I love these books and the complex nature of Cross' characters. Mercy is such a different person than who she was and she's such a badass. Xavier Blood is so complex and I just loved the two sides of him and how Mercy was able to bring a bit of his humanity back.
As Devil's Blood begins, it picks up where Mercy and X ended. Mercy is struggling with trying to figure out where Mercy and X go from here especially now that she has gotten her revenge. X, however is struggling with the decision to figure out who he was before or not.
Amity Cross completely mind f**ks readers with this series and never more so than in this latest release. Devil's Blood is intense and full of surprises and twists. You'll never guess who the identity of the Watchman is. Cross ended her series in such an epic and amazing way. Dramatic and thrilling, Devil's Blood is a great book in an absolutely wonderful, gripping, and captivating series!
