This isn’t the man I married.
The man I married was strong, beautiful and pure.
The man I married cherished our lives together.
The man I married loved me.
This…this isn’t that man.
One night. One accident. It changes everything.
I wish I could tell you the exact moment he fell out of love with me.
I wish I could tell you there was hope. That I hung on. That I fought.
I wish I could tell you that we fixed it.
That happily ever after was just out of our grips.
It wasn’t. I ran. In the dead of the night, I packed my things and I left him.
Now I’m back. He’s still the same man. A deadly underground fighter for the House Of Obsidian. He’s still dangerous. He’s still broken. I still love him.
This is the part where I’m supposed to turn back around and run… But I don’t.

My Review
OH MY GOD. I really don't even know where to begin my review. This book has left me speechless - in a good way.
Ok, so I guess I'll start from the beginning.
Boy meets girl. Everything seems perfect until one night something happens that changes the course of the perfect life the boy and girl are living.
Belle and Max were college sweethearts that went on to get married. When Max witnesses something one night on his way home from work, the foundation of their marriage slowly begins to crumble until the night it completely shatters. Belle leaves and doesn't look back until years later she's called home to help take care of her mom. Belle has a secret she has kept from Max all these years though.
The two of them have unfinished business, obviously, but at first they are stubborn and hurt and it makes it impossible for either one of them to let their guards down. When they try to talk, the hurt resurfaces and they end up hurting each other even more. When they finally begin to let one another in, the question is if they can mend and heal each other and their broken relationship or if it's time to let good.. for good.
Bella Jewel takes readers on an emotional roller coaster of epic proportions. I loved Max, I disliked Max, I loved him again. I felt the angst, the tension, and the hurt between Max and Belle. I felt the pain that Max experienced back then and the sadness Belle experienced. I shed tears for this couple, I rooted for this couple, and I got emotionally involved.
Flawed Heart drew me in from the very first line and by the last, I didn't want the book to end. I wanted more. Not only of Max and Belle, but of all the different characters throughout this book. Although admittedly, the moments between Max, Belle, and Imogen were perfection (I wanted more of those too, by the way).
I loved Bella Jewel's writing style and how she captured both characters personalities and emotions perfectly. I really enjoyed the fact that the past was told in Max's POV while the present was told in Belle's. They both had their own story to tell and their own sides and the past and present collided with one another.
Also, I was so intrigued by three different characters...Pippa, who is Belle's roommate and is dating a MC member, Raide, who is a mysterious guy that is friends with Max and seems to have a criminal background, and Rainer who is friends with Pippa and owns a bar. These three characters all have their own stories to tell and I am more than glad that Raide and Rainer are both getting their own books - especially since they both release in 2015!
Considering I had tears in my eyes and a wrench in my heart for Max and Belle, I gladly rate this book five stars. It's an incredible, but emotional second chance romance read. I'm looking forward to more of this series and seeing where the author goes with it. Rainer obviously has quite the serious story to tell.
