She needs a fake boyfriend fast… but love doesn’t come cheap!

As if being newly single isn’t brutal enough, Sloane Chatfield’s friends are getting obnoxious about setting her up. When Sloane insists she’s waiting for a certain sexy fictional Highlander to come along, her friends surprise her with a trip to Scotland to find her a new boyfriend. She’d rather have a root canal. But if she can find a Highland hunk to “break her heart” before her friends arrive…

In a remote Highland village, Galen Buchanan is struggling to keep the family pub afloat. Everything is falling apart, he’s running out of money, and now there’s an opinionated American lass parked at his best table, driving him mad. But then Sloane asks Galen to be her pretend Highland boyfriend…and offers him enough money to save the pub. It’s only for a few days, he figures. What’s the worst that could happen?

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Julia London writing as Jessa McAdams!

*MY REVIEW*
The Perfect Bargain may just be my all time favorite book of 2015. Sloane Chatfield has gone through a recent break up and her friends are insistent on finding her a man. When Sloane jokingly suggests that she needs a Jamie Frasier in her life, her friends jump on board with a trip to Scotland. Now Sloane needs a fake boyfriend and the only candidate is Galen Buchanan, the Scottish barkeep.

As Galen and Sloane pretend to be a couple will real feelings come in to play? ;)

The Perfect Bargain made me laugh, made my heart all a twitter, and had me wanting to race out and find my own personal Jamie Frasier/Galen Buchanan. I don't know what it is about a kilt and an accent, but I want a man with both!

Sloane and Galen are complete opposites. When readers are introduced to Sloane, she is uptight and wound like a coil. Galen on the other hand is the exact opposite. He runs a pub, he is friendly and approachable and good looking. Even with their differences though, once these two are in closed quarters and their chemistry really starts to show, you can't help but to love and root for this pair.

Sloane and Galen are well written, realistic characters that come to life among the pages of The Perfect Bargain. The writing from Jessa McAdams (Julia London) is flawless and flows easily and readers can connect with the story and picture the beautiful Scotland setting.

I loved this book and have been recommending it to everyone as one of my top picks of 2015. I'm really excited to see where this series goes.

★★★★
