Review
ELLA is a classical pianist having just moved out of her ex-boyfriend/teacher's apartment and into her own while preparing for a very important competition. Almost immediately after moving into her new apartment she meets her neighbor, Jake, who she gets off on the wrong foot with. While the sexual chemistry is there, they act very adversarial to one another which doesn't make for the greatest first meeting.
JAKE is a sexy, tattooed head chef who quickly becomes a distraction for Ella when he becomes intrigued by the girl who dresses like she's seventy and is the most uptight woman he has met.
While Ella is struggling with her music, Jake may just be what Ella needs to hit a crescendo all of her own.
PLAY ME is a fun book full of romance while at the same time being oh so sexy. I adored Jake so much. Not only was her this sexy beast of a man, he's a total sweetheart. I just wanted to wrap him up and keep him for myself. The perfect blend of comedy and romance, PLAY ME is a short but delightful read sure to get your heart accelerating and leave you craving more.
McCoy's writing is delightful and spunky and I look forward to more of her work.
