I don’t believe in destiny.

Francesca is an independent, sassy spitfire. Not afraid to ask a man out, when she crosses paths with Hawke and feels the connection sizzling between them, she takes control of the situation and asks him out.

Unfortunately for Francesca, Hawke misreads the situation and by the time he realizes it, butterflies are stirring in her belly and Hawke is taking a one way train out of anywhere that could lead to Commitmentville. 

In a series of events, Francesca and Hawke are led back to one another and become good friends. Their friendship comes easy despite both being attracted to one another. Hawke doesn't do relationships though and a line has been drawn between the two of them in terms of relationships or anything of that nature.

As their friendship grows and intensifies, Hawke finds himself doing things that he wouldn't normally do. 

But can their connection last? Can Hawke ever be the man that Francesca needs or is their too much darkness in him? 

Monday had me laughing, frowning, and swooning all throughout the book. Just when I thought I knew what would happen next, Todd surprised me. Monday is a fantastic start to the new Timeless series and I am anxiously anticipating the rest of the releases!
